The billing-cycle screen, 13 steps into the intake, reads: "Monthly · $249/mo · $199 first month" (preselected), "3 Months - $748 · $249/mo · Save $-1", "6 Months - $1248 · $208/mo · Save $246", "12 Months - $2298 · $192/mo · Save $690", with "Total if prescribed $199" underneath. Three of those four cards have an arithmetic problem. "Save $-1" is printed as written: three months at $249 is $747 and the plan costs $748, so the badge shows the negative literally. The $246 and $690 badges are each exactly $50 too large, because they subtract from $249 × N and ignore the $199 first month on the card beside them. Six months bought singly is $1,444, so the real saving is $196; twelve is $2,938, so the real saving is $640. The per-month rate on the twelve-month card is rounded as well: $2,298 over twelve months is $191.50, not the $192 printed. Synergy states "Price includes consult, medication, supplies, shipping, and support" and "Cancel or change plans anytime", and adds "After checkout, a provider will review your information to determine if treatment is right for you. Prescription is not guaranteed."

Consultation. $80. Consented to at checkout in Synergy's own words: "There is an $80 TeleHealth visit cost regardless of whether I receive medication." It is not folded into the plan price.
