Fees on top of the medication
Membership. Required: $79 a month. The weight-loss page tells you to “get the Alpha Plus+ membership” ($79 a month, 4 online visits). The $29 Basic plan also lists weight loss among its conditions, with 2 visits a month. “Monthly membership. No commitments. Cancel anytime.” Medication is not included.
Consultation. No separate consultation fee is disclosed.
Billing, canceling and refunds
Plans renew automatically every 30 days until canceled in the account settings; an email goes out five days before each renewal.
Monthly plan fees are nonrefundable once charged, whether or not you submit a visit that month.
Canceling the plan doesn't cancel automatic prescription refills; those have to be stopped with the care team.
Once a prescription has been processed for shipping, Hello Alpha takes no returns or swaps.
