The short version

Against it

  • No single-month price published

What it is

The Virtual NP is a Texas telehealth practice founded by Sandra Jordan, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, a family nurse practitioner, headquartered in McKinney. It treats by phone and video in Texas, Florida, Nevada, New York, Arizona, New Mexico and Kansas, and weight loss sits beside ED, hair loss, urgent care and a concierge plan.

For weight loss, the nurse practitioner reviews your recent lab work, which you must supply before the first call, and can prescribe Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Rybelsus and other brand drugs. You pick it up at a local store pharmacy, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens or Costco among them. An FAQ answer says compounded GLP-1s are no longer offered, although the same FAQ still names a Whitesboro, Texas compounding pharmacy.

What it actually costs

The Virtual NP prices by drug

Medication prices. The required $75/mo membership is billed on top.

There are two ways to pay for the clinician. The membership is $75 a month and includes a monthly appointment and a 30-day prescription; pay-as-you-go is $99 for each visit. Neither includes medication.

The drug is bought separately at the pharmacy or through insurance, and The Virtual NP doesn't quote a price for it. Its weight-loss page points cash-paying patients to the manufacturers' programs, NovoCare for Wegovy and LillyDirect for Zepbound, without naming their prices.

The site says you pay online when booking and again for each refill, after emailing a monthly progress report. No refund or cancellation terms are published anywhere on it.

Who it's wrong for

Want medication inside the monthly fee? The $75 buys the visit and the prescription, and the pharmacy bills the drug.

No recent labs on hand? You'll need to get them from Labcorp, Quest or your doctor and email them as a PDF before the first appointment.

Living outside Texas, Florida, Nevada, New York, Arizona, New Mexico or Kansas? The Virtual NP isn't licensed to see you.

Skip it if written refund rules matter to you; none are posted.

Hoping for compounded tirzepatide at a low cash price? The Virtual NP stopped offering compounded GLP-1s.
