What it is
Avono Health offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide month by month as weekly injections, oral capsules or orally dissolving tablets, with NAD+, sermorelin, hair and sexual-health treatments alongside. You choose a treatment inside a short online intake and enter a card, which is authorized but not charged; a clinician reviews your answers, occasionally adding a brief video visit, and you pay only if treatment is prescribed.
Avono LLC owns the brand and says it neither practices medicine nor dispenses anything. The intake, clinical review and pharmacy coordination run through CareValidate, which is also the name that shows on your card statement, and prescribing is done by Lion MD, a clinician group led by Dr. Ana Lisa Carr and Dr. Kelly Tenbrink. The FAQ names four partner pharmacies: Belmar, Strive, Epiq Scripts and Casa Pharma Rx.
It says it serves all 50 states, subject to provider licensure, and that prescribing, compounding, shipping and support all happen inside the United States.
Standard-dose semaglutide injections cost $219 a month and tirzepatide $299. That covers the medication, the clinician's review, follow-up messages and shipping. There's no membership and no clinician fee, and the price holds as your dose climbs within the program.
Oral versions cost more. Compounded semaglutide capsules are $289 a month and tirzepatide capsules $349.
The Microdose Program runs on its own price list, for dosing up to 2.5 mg: $159 for semaglutide injections, $219 for tirzepatide injections or semaglutide tablets, and $239 for tirzepatide tablets. It isn't a required first step, and once your clinician moves you to standard dosing, the standard price applies.
Avono's home page contradicts its pricing page. The care-programs section there advertises month-to-month, 3-, 6- and 12-month options and sells a three-month semaglutide injection bundle for $699, billed as saving $108 against $269 a month; the oral capsule bundle is $777 against $299. The weight-management page says “We do not offer three, six, nine or twelve month bundles” and sells the injection at $219 a month, so three separate months come to $657, less than the bundle. For capsules the bundle does come out ahead: three months at $289 is $867.
Nothing is charged before a clinician approves treatment. From that point the terms treat fees as spent the moment a provider reviews your intake or a pharmacy starts processing, and canceling stops later renewals without recalling an order already moving. No renewal cutoff is published in advance; the terms say it's “disclosed to you” along the way.
Who it's wrong for
Eyeing the $699 three-month bundle on the home page? At $219 a month, three separate months of injections cost $657.
Expecting $159 semaglutide? That's the Microdose Program, capped at 2.5 mg; standard-dose semaglutide is $219.
Skip it if you like calling someone. Avono publishes no phone number, just portal messaging and a compliance inbox.
The four partner pharmacies come with names and phone numbers but no locations, so where your vial is compounded stays unknown until it arrives.
If you might back out, do it before review: fees turn non-refundable the moment a provider opens your intake.

FDA's warning-letter search on “Avono Health”, “avonohealth”, “Avono LLC”, “CareValidate”, “CARE VALIDATE”, “Lion MD”, “Belmar Pharmacy”, “Strive Pharmacy”, “Epiq Scripts”, “Casa Pharma Rx” returns no letter addressed to Avono Health, its operator or Avono Health. One pharmacy it names does appear in FDA's index: warning letter 653740, dated March 31, 2023, is addressed to “Belmar Pharma Solutions, Drug Depot, LLC., dba APS Pharmacy” (Lakewood, CO) and concerns an inspection of the APS Pharmacy facility in Palm Harbor, Florida, category “Compounding Pharmacy/Adulterated Drug Products”. FDA posted a close-out letter for it on October 30, 2023. A warning letter discloses; it does not disqualify.
