ZYP Medical never prices one month of either GLP-1 on its site. Semaglutide starts with a 10-week starter plan at $399 paid in full, shown as $160 a month, and tirzepatide with a 2-month starter at $450 ($225 a month). It treats patients only in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Colorado and Arizona.
One month, no commitment
No 1-month price
No price for one month with no commitment appears on their public pages. Every figure they do publish is below.
ZYP Medical is a one-provider practice in Gretna, Nebraska, just outside Omaha, run by its founder, Josh Peterson, a board-certified family nurse practitioner. It covers weight loss, testosterone, minor urgent care and a handful of wellness services, in person at the clinic or by telehealth, and patients text the same provider the whole way through.
For weight loss it prescribes compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, blended with vitamin B6, plus oral tirzepatide tablets. An unnamed licensed 503A compounding pharmacy fills the order and ships it cold; most patients have it three to five business days post-visit. Insurance isn't billed; HSA, FSA and Affirm financing are accepted.
The service area is seven states: Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Colorado and Arizona, where its provider is licensed. Care starts with a scheduled visit rather than a questionnaire, either a 60-minute Deep Dive for people new to GLP-1s or a 30-minute Power Consult for those already taking one.
Semaglutide's first purchase is a 10-week starter plan at $399, paid in full, which ZYP presents as $160 a month. Tirzepatide's is a 2-month starter at $450 ($225 a month). Medication, supplies, cold-pack shipping and messaging with the provider come bundled, with no membership.
The home page quotes lower figures: semaglutide at $150 and tirzepatide at $233, footnoted as the average month of an initial three-month starter plan, with no total printed. After the starter, “Refill pricing depends on your dose,” because each order is priced on how long the vial lasts. The FAQ caps a semaglutide refill at $350 per order.
The first visit is where the site contradicts itself. One block on the weight-loss page calls it “Completely free,” the FAQ further down that page lists a $50 Deep Dive or a $29.99 Power Consult, and the home page FAQ says $75 and $39.99.
A month-to-month supply exists, according to the FAQ, though its price appears on no page. Affirm financing costs more in total than paying in full.
All sales are final. Shipped medication stays sold, a completed consult isn't refundable, and canceling a prepaid multi-vial plan before a later vial ships returns $100 at most.
Who it's wrong for
Living outside Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Colorado or Arizona? ZYP can't treat you.
Want one flat monthly price? ZYP prices each order by how long the vial lasts at your dose, so the cost shifts as you titrate.
Skip it if you'd like the consult fee settled before booking. Different ZYP pages call it free, $50 and $75.
Could you quit midway through a prepaid plan? Before a later vial ships, $100 is the ceiling on what comes back.
Is a named pharmacy on your checklist? ZYP identifies its compounder only as a licensed 503A shop, never by name.
