LillyDirect review

GLP-1 telehealth · Prices read September 2026

Our verdict

Foundayo costs $149 a month at LillyDirect at the 0.8 mg starting dose, and a Zepbound vial or KwikPen $299 a month at 2.5 mg, rising to $449 at the higher doses if you refill within 45 days. It's Lilly's own pharmacy service: your doctor, or a telehealth service you pay separately, has to send the prescription.

What it is

LillyDirect is Eli Lilly's direct-to-patient pharmacy service for its own medicines, including Zepbound, Mounjaro and the new Foundayo pill. You ask your doctor to send the prescription to LillyDirect Pharmacy in Indianapolis; a partner pharmacy (Gifthealth, FuzeHealth or Amazon Pharmacy) then texts you, applies any savings and sends a checkout link, and the medicine ships free or waits for pickup at Walmart Pharmacy.

It doesn't prescribe. Patients without a doctor get a menu of independent telehealth services and the fees those services report, from $29 a visit to $149 a month; Lilly disclaims endorsing them, and none of those fees covers the drug.

Lilly sets each self-pay figure by dose, and the pharmacy adds no membership or visit charge of its own. Insured patients may pay as little as $25 a month with a savings card, which isn't a cash price.

Foundayo is $149 a month at 0.8 mg and, until the end of 2026, also at 2.5 mg. The 5.5 mg dose is $199 under the same temporary reduction, and 9 mg, 14.5 mg and 17.2 mg are $299. A month here is 30 days of tablets.

A Zepbound vial or KwikPen costs $299 a month at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5 mg through 15 mg, but that $449 depends on the Journey Program: refill within 45 days or the regular price applies, $499 at 7.5 mg and $699 at 10 mg and above. Needles or pen needles cost extra at checkout, and a month is 28 days.

Mounjaro is $499 a month self-pay at any dose. Taxes and fees may be added to any of these.

The prescriber is a separate bill. The telehealth options LillyDirect lists report their own charges, such as $100 a self-pay visit or $99 a month for a membership, and Lilly can change or end these programs at any time.

Who it's wrong for

No prescriber? LillyDirect won't write one, so budget for a doctor or telehealth fee on top of the medicine.

Planning around $449 for a maintenance dose of Zepbound? Miss the 45-day refill window and 10 mg or more jumps to $699.

Looking at Foundayo's 2.5 mg or 5.5 mg price after December 31, 2026? Those two figures are marked as temporary reductions.

Shopping for a compounded version? LillyDirect carries only Lilly-made branded products.

  7. FDA's warning-letter search on “LillyDirect”, “lilly”, “Eli Lilly and Company”, “Lilly USA, LLC”, “LillyDirect Pharmacy”, “Gifthealth”, “FuzeHealth”, “Amazon Pharmacy”, “Walmart Pharmacy” returns no letter addressed to LillyDirect, to Lilly USA, LLC (the company its footer names) or to the partner pharmacies it lists. Three letters dated September 9, 2025, category “False & Misleading Claims/Misbranded”, are addressed to the manufacturer, Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN 46285), each about a direct-to-consumer video: one about “An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution,” promoting Zepbound and Mounjaro, and two about online interview videos promoting Zepbound. None concerns LillyDirect's pharmacy service or the prices here. A warning letter discloses; it does not disqualify.
