Bayan Health review

GLP-1 telehealth · Prices read September 2026

Our verdict

There's no single month to buy at Bayan Health: every GLP-1 protocol carries a 90-day commitment, billed monthly, before it turns month to month. Compounded semaglutide injections are $129 a month on those terms and tirzepatide $149, with three months of medication shipped at once.

One month, no commitment

Not sold

The shortest plan this company sells is 3 months, so a single month is not on offer at any price. Every GLP-1 product page in the Weight Loss Protocols category (Bayan Health's weight loss protocols page) sells one plan, priced per month, and the product pages' Additional Information tab states: “Weight management protocol requires a 90-day (3-month) commitment ... Protocols are billed monthly during the initial 90-day commitment and cannot be cancelled during this period.” No shorter plan is offered.

The short version

Against it

  • No single month is sold; the shortest plan is 3 months
  • No pharmacy named
  • No support hours published

What it is

Bayan Health is a Pittsburgh telehealth shop founded by Virginia “Ginny” Ondik, a nurse anesthetist, and named for the Filipino word for community. Weight loss is one shelf among many: hormones, sexual health, hair and skin, labs, urgent care, fertility coaching and peptides share the storefront.

Its GLP-1 range runs from weekly B6-blended shots of compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, lower-dose microdose versions of both, oral drops of each, and orforglipron tablets at $269 a month. Prescribing runs through MD Integrations, a national physician network, and the FAQ says clinicians are licensed or otherwise authorized in the patient's state.

Bayan's terms say it doesn't practice medicine or prescribe; it provides administrative and telehealth facilitation services. Pharmacies are described only as licensed 503A/503B U.S. partners, and no legal entity name appears anywhere on the site.

What it actually costs

Bayan Health prices by drug
DrugMonth to monthLowest rate on a longer plan
Compounded semaglutideNot sold alone$129 /mo, 3 months
Oral semaglutideNot sold alone$99 /mo, 3 months
Compounded tirzepatideNot sold alone$149 /mo, 3 months

Semaglutide injections are $129 a month and tirzepatide injections $149. Semaglutide drops and the microdose semaglutide shot are $99; tirzepatide drops and the microdose tirzepatide shot are $119. Each figure bundles the drug, the physician visit and expedited delivery, and none rises with the dose.

Here's the catch the product cards leave to a second tab. The weight-management protocols carry a 90-day commitment, billed monthly, that “cannot be cancelled during this period.” So the practical entry cost is three payments, $387 for semaglutide injections or $297 for the drops, and three months of medication arrive in one box.

After 90 days the protocol rolls month to month. The product tab says you can stop any time before your next billing date, but the terms demand an opt-out at least 15 days before the next protocol cycle, which may be another 60- or 90-day protocol. That's a gap worth asking about before you enroll.

Bayan publishes a consultation fee schedule ($20 for an initial weight-management visit, $20 follow-ups, $50 quarterly reviews) and says those fees are already inside the program price. Bayan charges no membership and doesn't bill insurance, though HSA or FSA cards might be accepted.

Who it's wrong for

Want to test a GLP-1 for a single month? Bayan's weight-loss protocols lock you in for 90 days, and they can't be canceled inside that window.

Skip it if the pharmacy's name matters to you. Bayan never names one, only “licensed 503A/503B U.S. pharmacies.”

Slow to open your mail? That's a problem here. The terms treat a delivery as accepted unless you report a problem in writing within 24 hours.

Relying on the FAQ's “no long-term contracts” line? The product pages' 90-day commitment and the terms' 15-day opt-out window say otherwise for GLP-1s.

If you need a phone number, there isn't one. Support runs through Bayan Health's support email and a web form.
