Our verdict

Lower on the same pages, a “Founding Member Price-Lock” box shows $149 and $199 a month without naming a plan, and the home page's $124 and $174 are twelve-month rates charged as one purchase.

What it is

Jently is a New York telehealth storefront started by Dr. Ilyagu, an internal medicine physician who also founded the Rehydrip IV infusion service. Its GLP-1 line is compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide shots; NAD+, sermorelin, glutathione and metformin fill out the menu. Medical care runs through MD Integrations (MDI), whose licensed providers review the online questionnaire and decide on any prescription; the site says they're licensed in your state.

The compounding pharmacy has a name and an address: Precision Compounding Pharmacy, a 503A on Long Island (Bellmore, NY). The terms qualify that, saying the pharmacy used depends on your state and that you can ask for another. The weight-management page mentions oral versions of both drugs, but the semaglutide and tirzepatide pages sell only injections and give no oral price.

The terms name Jently, LLC as owner and operator of Jently's site, with a mailing address at 543 Bedford Ave in Brooklyn; the privacy page is headed JENTLY, INC. and the footer gives a Manhattan address. Jently serves every state plus DC. It's cash pay only; HSA and FSA cards work, and Klarna or Affirm may be offered at checkout.

What it actually costs

Jently advertises $124. A month costs $199 because the advertised rate is the 12 months, one purchase.

The gap

They advertise $124 a month. That is the 12 months, one purchase, $1,488 on the card today. With no commitment it is $199 a month.

Jently prices by drug
DrugMonth to monthLowest rate on a longer plan
Compounded semaglutide$199$124 /mo, 12 months
Compounded tirzepatide$259$174 /mo, 12 months

Jently's own pages print two different prices for 2 of its drugs. The month-to-month figure above is the one a new customer pays; both figures, and where each appears, are on the cost page.

Each drug page has four plan tabs. Semaglutide costs $199 for one month, $437 for three ($145.67 a month), $754 for six ($125.67) or $1,488 for twelve ($124.00). Tirzepatide runs $259, $617 ($205.67), $1,114 ($185.67) or $2,088 ($174.00). Longer plans are each a single “Total One-Time Purchase”, and cold-chain shipping is free.

Below the tabs, each drug page adds a pricing box badged “BEST VALUE” that shows $149 monthly on the semaglutide page and $199 on the tirzepatide page as a “Founding Member Price-Lock”, next to a “$20 Consultation Fee” described as “included in one time fee monthly.” Neither box names the plan, the term or how long the lock lasts, and neither figure appears on a tab.

The terms fold everything into one subscription total: the pharmacy's charge for the drug, the medical group's fee and Jently's platform fee. Your card is collected during the questionnaire and charged only after a provider approves you. A subscription may be put on hold for as long as 60 days.

Refunds are narrow. Requests must come within 24 hours of the order and before a prescription is issued or shipped, and nothing is refunded once a consultation is complete or medication dispensed. Lost or damaged shipments are resent free.

Who it's wrong for

Counting on $124 a month for semaglutide? That's the twelve-month tab, $1,488 in one charge.

Skip Jently if one clear monthly number matters to you. Jently's semaglutide page shows $199 on the one-month tab and $149 in a price-lock box further down.

Wanted a tablet instead of a shot? Oral forms are mentioned, but only injections are for sale with a price.

Prefer a phone call to email? There's no phone line, just Jently's support email.

Second thoughts on day two won't get your money back: refund requests close 24 hours after the order.
