Mint Med review

GLP-1 telehealth · Prices read September 2026

Our verdict

Compounded semaglutide is $106 a month at Mint Med on month-to-month billing, and compounded tirzepatide is $145, the same at every dose and with no membership on top. The lower $86 semaglutide rate that opens its product page belongs to a 12-month prepaid plan.

What it is

Mint Med, LLC runs this Cincinnati-based online prescription store, with Dr. Roderick Huff, MD, named as founder and clinical lead. Weight care means compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide injections, sold alongside MIC+B12, NAD+, sermorelin and bremelanotide. It takes no insurance; the banner says HSA and FSA cards are eligible.

The order runs in reverse of a typical clinic. You choose a plan and pay at checkout, then complete new-patient forms that arrive by email, and a provider reviews them, which the How It Works page puts at six business hours. States that require a live visit get a video or audio appointment; elsewhere the chart review is enough. Approved orders are filled by a named 503A pharmacy in Fort Lauderdale or Houston and arrive cold-packed in 5 to 7 business days.

Coverage stops at 35 states by the company's own count, and its two state lists disagree about California: the home page FAQ includes it, the contact page leaves it out.

What it actually costs

Mint Med prices by drug
DrugMonth to monthLowest rate on a longer plan
Compounded semaglutide$106$86 /mo, 12 months
Compounded tirzepatide$145$110 /mo, 2 months

Mint Med's own pages print two different prices for 2 of its drugs. The month-to-month figure above is the one a new customer pays; both figures, and where each appears, are on the cost page.

Semaglutide costs $106 a month and tirzepatide $145 a month, billed monthly, with every dose included and the rate locked. The banner beside the $106 reads “NO memberships!”. Per Mint Med's FAQ, that payment buys the intake review, a telehealth visit where your state requires one, plus unlimited chat with the Mint Med care team.

Each product page opens on a prepaid rate rather than the monthly one. Semaglutide shows $86.00 a month, footnoted as a 12-month plan billed upfront, so twelve months of $86 go on the card at once. Tirzepatide shows $110.00 a month on a 2-month plan, $220 per charge.

Some pages carry leftover prices. The How It Works page still shows semaglutide tiles at “$133/month” (sold at $399) and “$246/mo”, plus a tirzepatide tile at $299, and a separate tirzepatide listing charges $179 a month or $450 for three months. Mint Med's home page and weight-management collection lead to the $106 and $145 products.

Payment comes first. Mint Med charges at checkout and promises a refund if a clinician finds you ineligible. Once an order is processed there's no canceling and no refund, and the refund policy calls consultation fees non-refundable after a provider has seen you without ever naming an amount.

Quitting a prepaid plan early has a price. The subscription policy says anyone who cancels before a 3, 6 or 12-month prepaid term ends will “pay the difference between the promotional and full price”, and the full price isn't printed anywhere. A monthly plan stops by form, submitted at least 48 business hours before the next order processes.

Who it's wrong for

Live in California? One Mint Med state list includes it and another doesn't, so ask before you pay.

Skip Mint Med if a shipped order should still be refundable. Processing ends refunds, whether the box has left or not.

Eyeing the $86 semaglutide rate? That's twelve months prepaid, and leaving early means paying back the gap to a full price the site never states.

Prefer a clinician's approval before your card is charged? Checkout comes first here, and the intake forms follow by email.

Comparing tirzepatide prices across the site will confuse you: $145, $179 and $299 all appear for the same drug, and $145 is the one the home page sells.

The /pages/qualify and /pages/qualify-flow screens were loaded by the crawler and rendered empty; nothing was entered. No intake, cart, checkout or account page was opened.
  2. The prices, from the seller's own pages. Home page banner: “NO memberships! GLP-1 All Doses $106 per month Secure payment”. Semaglutide product page: “Compounded Semaglutide GLP $106/MO Choose your plan $86.00 per month* Check if You Qualify Prescription treatment requires a medical evaluation and is not guaranteed. 3. The full plan menus, from the public product data behind the plan selectors (the rendered pages show only the default plan). Semaglutide: “$106 Monthly Compounded Semaglutide – Lifetime Price (All Doses Included)”, a 2-month plan at $101/mo, a 3-month plan at $96/mo, a 6-month plan at $91/mo and a 12-month plan at $86/mo, each described as “Lifetime Price (All Doses Included)”. The $145 tirzepatide product lists “$145/month | Month-to-Month Lifetime Price (All Doses Included) Compounded Tirzepatide” plus prepaid plans at $140/month (2 months), $135/month (3 months), $130/month (6 months), $125/month (12 months) and a second 2-month plan at $110/mo. The monthly plan's description reads “Only $145/month includes Provider evaluation, prescription and medication, upon approval, 2-day cold packed shipping, 24/7 care team access.”
  4. What the price includes, from the home page FAQ: “Do I have to pay before I’m approved? Yes. Your payment is collected upfront to begin your clinical review, but you are only prescribed medication if it is medically appropriate.” The payment covers “Your full medical intake review”, a provider assessment, “A telehealth visit if needed” and “Unlimited messaging with your care team”; an ineligible patient gets a clinical explanation and the site will “Issue a refund immediately.”
  5. Billing and refunds, from the refund and subscription policies: “Cancellation requests must be received at least 48 business hours before your next scheduled order processing date.” “Some subscriptions include a prepaid plan for 3, 6 or 12 months. If you cancel before completing the prepaid term, you will be required to pay the difference between the promotional and full price to cover the balance.” “Once a prescription has been processed, it is considered final and cannot be refunded or canceled.” “Once a patient has been seen by a licensed provider, consultation fees are non-refundable, unless the provider determines that the patient is medically ineligible for treatment.” No consultation fee amount appears on any page, and the product data says the monthly price includes the provider evaluation, so no consultFee is recorded.
  6. Who does what, from the terms (“Date of Last Revision: April 08, 2025”): “MINT MED, LLC ("MINT MED," "WE," "US," OR "OUR") PROVIDES A PLATFORM TO CONNECT YOU WITH LICENSED HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS.” Medical services “are delivered by independent, licensed providers in your state through our network.” Delaware law and binding AAA arbitration apply. The contact-information page gives the mailing address “Mint Med 8833 Chapel Square Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45249”. The About page names “Dr. Roderick Huff, MD” as founder, and the Trust and Compliance page lists “Our Clinic Office for Dr. Roderick Huff, MD”.
  7. Licensing and pharmacy, from the Trust and Compliance and contact pages: affiliated providers are licensed “in jurisdictions in which they practice or render services to (such as the patient’s jurisdiction)”; “Compounded medications are exclusively compounded at licensed 503(a) compounding pharmacies pursuant to Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.” The contact page lists “Pharmacy Fulfillment Partners RxCompoundStore Pharmacy 1 N. Federal Hwy Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301” and “Southend Pharmacy 9301 Southwest Freeway, Suite 100 Houston, TX 77074”.
  8. States and timing: the home page says “Mint Med currently provides services in 35 U.S. states” and lists 36 state codes including CA; the contact page's list omits CA. How It Works: “A licensed Mint Med provider will review your intake within 6 business hours.” Shipping: “Orders typically ship 5–7 business days after provider approval.” Support: “Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST” (contact-information page) against “Available Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM EST” (home page).
  9. FDA warning letter 730390, issued June 8, 2026, category “False & Misleading Claims/Misbranded (Telehealth)”. It is addressed to “Glow Medispa, LLC dba Mint Med”, 8833 Chapel Square Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45249. FDA records that it reviewed “Mint Med’s website, Mint Med's home page” in May 2026, the same site the prices here come from. It finds that the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide pictured on the site carry a “Mint Med” label, “suggesting Mint Med is the compounder of those drugs when in fact it is not”. The finding is about those claims; it makes no finding about the medication itself. A warning letter discloses; it does not disqualify.
