The short version

In its favor

  • No membership fee on top
  • Clean FDA warning-letter record
  • Prescribers licensed in your state

Against it

  • No pharmacy named

What it is

Health Source Online is a small New York storefront that sells prescription programs the way a web shop sells anything else: pick a product, choose a supply, pay, and then fill out the medical questionnaire. Weight loss shares the shelf with NAD+, sermorelin, glutathione, erectile-dysfunction pills, Addyi and Upneeq eyelid drops. Plenty of its patients come in through Groupon, and one policy page is built entirely around redeeming those vouchers.

Prescribing runs through MD Integrations, a national physician network, and you message your doctor in MDI's portal; Health Source doesn't list its clinicians. A partner 503A pharmacy compounds the drug. Semaglutide comes premixed with B12 in vials, with syringes and alcohol pads, not pens. The contact page gives the dispensing pharmacy's street address in East Brunswick, New Jersey and a pharmacist line on a DirxHealth email, but no pharmacy name.

Its terms call the company a facilitator that practices neither medicine nor pharmacy. The only address is a private mailbox, PMB 4015 at 35 W 31st St in Manhattan. New York law governs, and disputes go to binding arbitration with class actions waived.

What it actually costs

Health Source Online prices by drug
DrugMonth to monthLowest rate on a longer plan
Compounded semaglutide$199$174.50 /mo, 2 months
Compounded tirzepatide$299$274.50 /mo, 2 months

Semaglutide is $199.00 every 4 weeks whether you choose the 4-week starter, the 6-week starter or the full dose. The 8-week option is $349.00 every 8 weeks, about $174.50 per four weeks. Tirzepatide mirrors that at $299.00 and $549.00. Oral tirzepatide, a tablet you dissolve under the tongue, is $399.00 every 4 weeks at either dose.

Four-week billing means 13 charges a year rather than 12, so a year of semaglutide at $199 comes to $2,587. The 6-week starter is the one option that stretches the first charge further, since it carries six weeks of medication for the four-week price.

What that price covers depends on the paragraph. The home page says every program “covers the cost of medication, supplies” plus round-the-clock access to the care team. Lower on the semaglutide page, a block about an Aging Wellness Assessment says the medication “is not included in this program.”

Subscriptions renew on their own unless you cancel at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Before the order ships you can ask for a refund, less $25 to $45 once you've completed the medical intake; if you aren't approved, the whole amount comes back. After the pharmacy processes the order, nothing is refunded.

Groupon vouchers work only for new patients. Once you're established, promotions bought outside Health Source Online aren't honored.

Who it's wrong for

Setting a yearly budget off $199? The charge lands every four weeks, which is 13 times a year.

Skip it if you want a pen. Semaglutide arrives compounded with B12 in a vial, and you draw each dose with a syringe.

Changed your mind after the questionnaire? Health Source keeps $25 to $45 of a pre-shipping refund once the intake is done.

Not for you if you like knowing who fills the prescription. The contact page lists a New Jersey street address and a pharmacist phone line, never a pharmacy name.

Holding a Groupon voucher as a returning patient? The payment policy says outside promotions aren't accepted once you're established.

  7. Pharmacy and shipping. Contact page: “Pharmacist Assistance: If you need to speak with a pharmacist regarding your medication, side effects, or adverse events, please contact us at: Phone: (877-367-3479) Email: DirxHealth's email address Dispensing Pharmacy Address: 1 Tower Center Blvd #23 East Brunswick, NJ 08816”. Service Areas: “All 50 United States”, excluding U.S. territories.
  8. A separate annotation: during the page crawl an Addyi item (not a GLP-1) appeared in the storefront's mini-cart, which the crawler had not opened. No checkout, account or intake was started.
  9. No FDA enforcement action on record: FDA's warning-letter search on “Health Source Online”, “healthsource”, “HealthSource Online”, “MD Integrations”, “DirxHealth”, returns no letter addressed to Health Source Online, its operator, the named pharmacies or Health Source Online.
