Our verdict

Compounded semaglutide runs $259 a month at The Edit on its no-commitment plan, tirzepatide $349, after a limited-time first month of $200 or $300. Prepaying three or six months cuts the rate to between $178 and $285 a month, billed once at the start, and the price is flat across doses.

The short version

In its favor

  • $259 buys one month of compounded semaglutide, no commitment
  • No membership fee on top
  • Same price at every dose
  • Clean FDA warning-letter record

Against it

  • The advertised $200/mo is its lowest rung; plan on $259
  • No support hours published

What it is

The Edit calls itself a clinician-led longevity practice, and weight loss is one of four shelves: weekly semaglutide and tirzepatide shots from a compounding pharmacy share it with NAD+, sermorelin, glutathione, a copper-peptide cream and menopause hormones. You pick a treatment, fill in an asynchronous intake, and the prescriber, who must hold your state's license, makes the call. There's a site in Spanish too.

The Edit Health LLC, a Texas company at 5900 Balcones Drive in Austin, runs it as a management services organization and doesn't practice medicine. Prescribing belongs to Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC, whose medical director is Dr. Sean Arora, a board-certified family physician. Every prescription is filled by The Pharmacy Hub in Miami.

It's available in all 50 states, subject to a check of your address during the consultation. No insurance; FSA and HSA cards work.

What it actually costs

The Edit advertises $200. A month costs $259 because the advertised rate is the lowest rung of a dose ladder.

The gap

They advertise $200 a month. That is the lowest rung, not the price most people pay; the number a reader should plan around is $259.

The Edit prices by drug
DrugMonth to monthLowest rate on a longer plan
Compounded semaglutide$259$178 /mo, 6 months
Compounded tirzepatide$349$263 /mo, 6 months

No-commitment months cost $259 on semaglutide and $349 on tirzepatide. Right now the first month is discounted, to $200 and $300, and the product pages label that “LIMITED TIME”. Each price covers the medication, injection supplies, the clinician visit with ongoing care, and two-day cold-chain shipping, with no membership fee.

Prepaying lowers the rate. Semaglutide is $575 for three months ($192 a month) or $1,065 for six ($178). Tirzepatide is $855 for three months ($285) or $1,575 for six ($263). “Three- and six-month plans are billed once at the start of the plan.”

Dose never changes the price. The plan table promises the same figure at every dose, so moving up the titration ladder costs nothing extra.

A declined patient pays nothing. After approval the cancellation policy governs: a cancellation runs until the paid period ends, and a period already started isn't pro-rated. Anything already compounded or shipped stays paid for, and the Membership Agreement you accept before care begins overrides the public policy wherever they differ.

Who it's wrong for

Counting on the $200 month to last? It's a first-month price; semaglutide is $259 from month two, tirzepatide $349.

Prepaying six months to get $178? That's $1,065 charged on day one, and a period already begun isn't pro-rated if you stop.

Prefer to call someone? The Edit publishes no phone number, only email and portal messaging.

Want the binding billing rules in hand before you pay? The Membership Agreement that controls them appears only when care begins.

Two days of shipping is carrier time only; the shipping policy puts prescription to doorstep at 4 to 12 business days.
