How often is the advertised figure a first month?

Often enough that it is worth a habit rather than a check. The pattern is not a discount printed beside a price — it is a discount printed as the price, in the slot where a recurring rate would go, with the recurring rate a line below it or a page away.

RxPros is the clearest single case in the roster, because its own asterisk does the work: *First month Introductory Discount for all new patients or save big when paid quarterly. The figures that asterisk belongs to are "Semaglutide Now only $149" and "Tirzepatide Now only $249". RxPros publishes no figure at all for month two.

Which medication prices jump in month two?

Coby Health deserves credit for publishing the whole climb rather than the first step of it. Its monthly tab reads Starts at $199 $159 · Billed monthly · Order monthly for maximum flexibility and then prints every month underneath: Month 1 (0.25mg): $159 · Month 2 (0.50mg): $199 · Month 3 (1.0mg): $229 · Month 4 (1.7mg): $249 · Month 5+ (2.4mg): $249. A reader can see month five before paying for month one, which is more than any other introductory price in this table allows.

Enhance MD runs the same shape across three products at once — GLP-1 Core semaglutide — Starting at $112 first month — $212 /month (All doses) — and the discount is exactly $100 on every one of them, under a banner advertising up to $150 off. That gap is its own finding.

Do the memberships do it too?

LifeMD attaches the clearest footnote of the group to its own headline: Price does not include the monthly program & provider fee of $149 (first month discounted to $39 today). So the advertised $149 medication and the $39 program fee are both first-month figures, and month two is both standing rates together — $149 of program fee on top of the medication.

Zealthy is the one that leaves the question open: Your first month of membership is currently discounted to $39 — and nothing on the pages we read publishes what the membership costs after that. A discount stated without the price it discounts is not a price, and its review says so rather than guessing at one.

How many of these need a promo code?

5 of the companies quoted on this page publish the introductory figure only against a code, which matters because a code is a condition and a condition can expire.

GobyMeds is the reason to say so. Its pricing page, read on August 31, 2026, carried this twice: *Jumpstart Promo Pricing This price is available now through December 31st, 2025 with code JUMPSTART20. We are recording the date the page states and the date we read it, and nothing else — we did not test whether the code still works, because testing it means starting a checkout.

Green Cap Health is the tidiest of the coded offers: 50% off first month — $179 $89.50 first month — Use code GREEN50 — Then $179 /month · cancel anytime. Half the standing rate is the first-month figure exactly, the standing rate is printed on the same card, and the card states that this plan has no prepay option — three things a reader needs, in one place.

What does a first-month discount save across a year?

A few per cent. This is the arithmetic a first-month figure is designed to keep you from doing: a discount that happens once, spread across the twelve months it is advertised against.

The arithmetic is ours and both inputs are the company's: a first year with the discount is the discounted first month plus eleven months at the standing rate; the comparison is twelve months at the standing rate. Neither figure includes a membership, a provider-visit fee or a renewal at a higher dose, each of which has its own piece on this site. No company here publishes an annual total for a month-to-month plan, so nothing in this table is a figure we have divided out of one.

Which company never publishes month two at all?

RxPros, and it is worth being precise about the claim. RxPros publishes an annual rate, publishes a first-month introductory rate, states in its own returns policy that every GLP-1 program requires a three-month minimum, and publishes no per-month figure for the three-month plan it says it always ships.

Its review carries the consequence rather than a guess: We are not printing a figure for that plan until someone walks the intake to the plan screen and records it. That is a gap in what RxPros publishes and an open item on this site, and it is a different thing from a company being expensive.

So which number should you plan on?

Month two. That is the whole answer, and it is the number to put in a budget, compare between companies and check against your own tolerance — because eleven of your first twelve months are priced at it and only one is not.

The two things that make month two worse than the table above suggests are elsewhere on this site: a dose ladder that climbs as you titrate up and a billing cycle shorter than a calendar month, which quietly adds a thirteenth payment.
