What the checkout shows you that the home page doesn't

A clock, a plan you did not choose, and a price that exists only once. Of the 0 first-hand GLP-1 intakes on record, 13 put something on the screen that the company's public pages never carry. 0 did not, and they are named below too.

How many of these screens carry a clock?

4 of the 0. The clock is not beside the price; the clock is attached to the price, which is the part worth understanding. On Gala Health, TrimRx, FuturHealth and PlushCare, a timer runs down against a figure you are being asked to accept, and the figure is described as reserved for you while it runs.

FuturHealth ran two at once, twelve seconds apart: YOUR APPROVAL EXPIRES IN 14:47 above Exclusive price expires in 14:53. Two clocks on one screen, counting down to two different things, neither of which the public page mentions.

Do the counters actually count anything?

No, and on the funnels that ran one, that is a measurement rather than an opinion. 2 of the 0 carried a counter. On TrimRx we timed both of them. Its plan screen read Only 33 discounts left, and about two minutes later, with no action from us, it read 15. Its patient tally read 12,199 patients chose this today, and later in the same session it read 19,049.

Read that again with the arithmetic in it. Eighteen discounts disappeared in about two minutes while a browser sat still, and nearly seven thousand people joined the day's tally in the same session. Neither number is counting anything that happened. They are animations with digits in them, and they sit against the moment a reader decides how much to spend.

Gala Health runs the same pair: Only 24 discounts left beside Yours is reserved for 9:57 min. Its own review records that those mechanics appear on no public page.

Which plan is already chosen when the screen loads?

On 5 of the 0 funnels, the plan is selected before you arrive, and it is never the shortest one. Breeze Meds loads its plan grid with the three-month card selected on arrival. PeterMD preselects the longer of its two levels: Level 2, the $834 one, even though its own label says it is for current or returning users.

The default is doing work here. A reader who changes nothing buys the long commitment, and the long commitment is the one whose money is hardest to get back: every refund policy on this roster says the difference is gone if you stop.

Do the savings badges on those screens add up?

Not always, and the failures cluster on the card the company chose for you. 162 of the 770 multi-month rungs in this roster do not multiply out (the published rate times the published term is not the charge), and 0 of the companies carrying one have a first-hand funnel record.

Two of those need their own sentence, because the badge beside them is the thing that fails. Synergy Rx prints 3 Months - $748 · $249/mo · Save $-1: three months at its own $249 is $747 against a $748 plan, so the badge renders the negative literally. Its own review shows the working on the other two cards as well: the Save $246 and Save $690 badges are each exactly $50 too large, because both subtract from $249 × N and ignore the $199 first month printed on the card beside them.

FuturHealth supplied an August 2026 example of a defect and not a difference of method. Two of its three badges reconcile to the dollar against its own discounted first month. The third does not, and the third is the card FuturHealth had already selected and labeled RECOMMENDED FOR 180 LB GOAL. The card we did not have to look for is the one whose arithmetic does not hold; the two we did are the control.

One more thing a plan screen does that a home page cannot: it prints a first-month price where the standing rate goes. 5 of the 0 funnels do it, from Gala's First shipment $120 OFF to TrimRx's $299/month · PAY ONLY $179 LIMITED OFFER. What that figure becomes in month two is the subject of its own answer.

What does the checkout promise that the home page doesn't?

On 2 of the 0, a guarantee. Gala's plan screen carries Same Price. All Dosage Levels. One price. Forever.: four sentences of pricing policy that a reader comparing companies in browser tabs would never see, because they exist only after the intake. TrimRx's August 2026 order summary carried Same Price. All Dosage Levels. and 100% refunded if not prescribed — Only charged if your prescription is approved.

TrimRx now publishes its dose-price promise on the public home page; the older no-prescription refund promise has not been reconfirmed in the current offer. In general, placement matters: a promise you can only read after committing your time is not a promise you could have chosen the company for. Whether the promise holds at the top of a dose ladder is a separate question, and it has its own answer here.

What stands in front of the price?

On 6 of the 0 funnels, something you have to hand over before a figure appears: an account with a password, or a signed financial commitment. Henry Meds is the hardest version. The intake reaches a required checkbox reading, in part, commit to paying the subscription fee for the full contract term if prescribed medication, regardless of usage. Henry's own next-steps list puts choosing your subscription after that box. The checkout discloses the amount after the commitment to pay it, and we did not tick it. The price list itself is public, on a legal page in Henry's footer.

Coby Health, GobyMeds, EllieMD and Good Life Meds all reach a create-an-account form before a medical question. We don't open accounts to get a number, so each review gives the step count and where the intake ended. That is a different claim from "they publish no price", and it is the one we can support.

Does anything here go further than pressure?

Two things, both on WeightCare, and both before a single medical question. The first: a plinko-style game opened on first load reading "Tap to drop" and "Try your luck", with prizes ranging from $300 off to 5% off. A prescription medication, and a prize drop deciding the discount.

The second is the one we would raise with a regulator rather than with a shopper: The marketing-consent checkbox at checkout was preticked, consenting to automated calls "including those using an artificial or prerecorded voice, or AI-generated synthesized voice". We did not submit it.

So are these disclosures, or are they pressure?

Both, and the line between them is not where the industry pretends it is. We will answer it directly rather than hedge.

A first-month price is a disclosure: every one of them says what it is, in the company's own words, on the card that carries it. A price promise on a plan screen is a disclosure, badly placed. A preselected plan is a design choice with a cost attached, and it becomes a defect only where the badge on that card is wrong, which is where two of the funnels above land.

A counter that falls by eighteen in two minutes while nothing happens is none of those things. It is not a disclosure, because it discloses nothing true. It is not a design default, because it is not describing a state. It is a number chosen to make you hurry, dressed as a measurement, on the screen where you decide how much of your money to commit to a prescription drug. That is the finding, and we are not going to soften it.

Which funnels showed none of this?

0 of the 0: . That absence comes from the same intakes, on the same day, by the same method, which is the only kind of absence worth printing.

Lavender Sky Health deserves the sentence it earned: its consultation and medication prices are published openly, with no intake required: zero steps to a price, and the only company in this set of which that is true. Its intake ends at a government photo-ID upload, which we don't complete, but every figure is already on the open web before that point.

What does this change about how you shop?

Open the funnel before you decide, and read the plan screen with a notepad rather than a clock. The figure that matters is what a single month costs with nothing else attached, and on that figure exists nowhere else, and each of those reviews records the intake that produced it. What else do people ask about GLP-1 checkouts?

• How do you get a price without buying anything?By taking the intake only as far as payment entry or account creation, whichever comes first, with no card details entered and no account opened. That is why 0 of the 412 companies published here carry a first-hand intake record and the rest do not, and why some reviews say where the intake ended instead of quoting a number.
• Is a countdown on a checkout screen counting anything real?No. On TrimRx a counter reading 33 remaining discounts fell to 15 in about two minutes with nobody touching the page, and a tally of patients choosing that plan today went from 12,199 to 19,049 in one session. Gala's plan screen runs the same pair, reading 24 discounts left beside a nine-minute reservation. Both were on screen on August 31, 2026.
• Does a preselected plan cost more than the one you would have picked?On every funnel that preselects, the card already selected was a multi-month plan rather than a single month: 5 of the 0 funnels on record. That matters because of what happens if you stop: every refund policy on this roster refuses to return the unused part of a prepaid term.
• Do all of these companies use pressure mechanics?No, and printing the exceptions is the point. 0 of the 0 funnels on record carried none of them: . Form Health's record states it directly: no countdown timer, no scarcity counter, no preticked box and no preselected multi-month plan appeared anywhere in that funnel.
• Can you see a GLP-1 price without starting an intake at all?On Lavender Sky Health, yes: its consultation fees and its whole medication grid are published on the open web with no intake required: zero steps to a price, and the only company among the sixteen of which that was true on August 31, 2026.
