Our verdict

On Genesis Health's monthly plan, compounded semaglutide costs $175 and tirzepatide $225. The $91.67 and $125 leading its product pages are annual rates, billed $1,100 and $1,500 at once. Brand pens are listed but can't be bought at any published price.

The short version

In its favor

  • $175 buys one month of compounded semaglutide, no commitment
  • No membership fee on top
  • Same price at every dose
  • Prescribers licensed in your state

Against it

  • The advertised $91.67/mo is a 12-month prepay, $1,100 at once
  • FDA warning letter 721451, February 2026
  • No pharmacy named

What it is

Genesis Health runs out of Boynton Beach, Florida, and sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide shots through its website, with sermorelin, NAD+, hair-growth and sexual-health products on the same shelf. After an online health questionnaire, a doctor or nurse practitioner reviews your answers within about 24 hours; a handful of states add a short video call. Approved orders go to a compounding pharmacy and ship by 2-day service.

Behind the site is Genesis Health International Inc., which its own terms describe as a telemedicine platform with no medical services of its own. Clinicians employed or contracted by an affiliated physician practice write the prescriptions, and the telehealth consent names that practice as Beluga Health, P.A. Genesis says each one holds a license where you live. Its pharmacies appear only as “US-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies”, with no names.

Brand-name Ozempic, Wegovy and Zepbound each get a product page, but they're flagged limited supply or sold out and show no price you can actually buy at. The terms go further: “We do not supply these medications.”

What it actually costs

Genesis Health advertises $91.67. A month costs $175 because the advertised rate is the annual plan.

The gap

They advertise $91.67 a month. That is the annual plan, $1,100 on the card today. With no commitment it is $175 a month.

Genesis Health's own pages print two different prices for compounded semaglutide. The month-to-month figure above is the one a new customer pays; both figures, and where each appears, are on the cost page.

Semaglutide costs $175 on the monthly plan, $350 per quarter ($116.67 a month), $650 every six months ($108.33 a month) or $1,100 a year ($91.67 a month). Tirzepatide is $225 monthly, $565 per quarter ($188.33), $1,050 per half year ($175) or $1,500 a year ($125). Every longer plan is charged in full when it starts or renews.

Every product page opens on its yearly figure. Over on the Weight Loss hub, the lead number is “$176 per month*”, tied by footnote to a “2-Month plan paid upfront” that no product page sells. The FAQ throws in a third, GLP-1 medications “starting at just $296 a month.” Only the $175 monthly card lets a new patient pay without committing.

Titrating up won't raise the bill, and Genesis folds the doctor's visit, the medication and free shipping into the plan, with “No membership fees.” No separate consult charge appears on the site.

Genesis refunds in two cases only: a provider rules you medically ineligible at the first consult, or the company bills you by mistake. Submitting the intake starts clinical review and fulfillment, and from then on the order is locked. To stop a renewal you email support at least 15 days out from the billing date; miss that and the most on offer is a discretionary 10% credit, and only if nothing has shipped.

HSA and FSA cards are a coin toss. The home page says “Use your FSA or HSA on any plan,” while the FAQ says “Genesis does not take FSA or HSA as payment at this time.”

Who it's wrong for

Planning around $91.67? It's the yearly semaglutide rate, collected as $1,100 on day one; a single month costs $175, and tirzepatide's is $225.

Skip it if you want Ozempic, Wegovy or Zepbound. The pages exist, but they're marked limited supply or sold out, and the terms say Genesis doesn't supply them.

Forgetful about billing dates? Genesis needs your cancellation email 15 days ahead, and a late one earns a 10% credit at most.

HSA holders get two answers: the home page says the card works on any plan, and the FAQ says Genesis doesn't take it.

Curious which pharmacy mixes the vial? Genesis keeps that off every public page.

  6. Billing and refunds, from the Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Genesis Health International Inc. Effective Date: June 25, 2026”): “You will receive a full refund if a Genesis Health medical provider determines during your initial consultation that you are not medically eligible for treatment based on established medical guidelines.” “Once your medical intake has been submitted and your order enters the clinical review and fulfillment process, it cannot be canceled or refunded.” “Canceling your subscription prevents future recurring charges only. Charges that have already been processed are non-refundable.” “To avoid being charged for your next shipment, you must cancel your subscription at least 15 days before your next scheduled billing date by emailing Genesis Health's support email.” “If you cancel fewer than 15 days before your next billing date and your medication has not yet shipped, Genesis Health may, at its sole discretion, issue a 10% account credit toward a future purchase. Once medication has shipped, no refund or credit will be provided.”
  7. Who does what. The terms (“Genesis Health International Inc. Date of Last Revision: October 29, 2024”): “Genesis Health International Inc. is a telemedicine platform that facilitates connections between independent licensed healthcare providers and patients.” and “Genesis Health does not provide any medical services, including via the Services.” The telehealth consent: “Thank you for choosing Genesis Health International Inc. (Genesis Health) and Beluga Health, P.A. (“Beluga”)!” The FAQ: “Every healthcare provider you connect with is licensed to prescribe and treat patients in your state.” The terms choose Delaware law and binding individual arbitration. The footer address is “2500 Quantum Lakes Drive, Boynton Beach, FL, 33426” and the copyright line reads “© 2024 Genesis Health International. All rights reserved.”
  8. Pharmacy and shipping. Product-page footnote: “***Our partner pharmacies are US-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. Medications are dispensed by state-licensed pharmacies.” The FAQ: “The pharmacy typically processes the order within 3-4 business days, after which it is shipped via 2-day shipping. Most clients receive their medication within 8-10 business days from their initial provider visit.” Identity is checked with a government ID photo and a separate face photo.
  9. Payment cards and support. The home page says “Use your FSA or HSA on any plan”; the FAQ says “Genesis does not take FSA or HSA as payment at this time.” The Contact page: “Customer care hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm EST, but reach out to us any time.”
  10. FDA warning letter 721451, issued February 20, 2026, category “False & Misleading Claims/Misbranded (Telehealth)”. Addressed to “Genesis Health International Inc. dba Genesis”, 2500 Quantum Lakes Dr, Boynton Beach, FL 33426, the operator named in Genesis Health's own terms. FDA writes that it “reviewed your website content at the internet address Genesis Health's home page, in December 2025”, the same site the prices here come from. It objects that the pictured labels “identify “Genesis” on the pictured label, suggesting Genesis is the compounder of those drugs when in fact it is not”, and quotes two claims, “Contains the same active ingredient as Ozempic® and Wegovy®” and “Same active ingredient as Mounjaro®”, adding: “Compounded drug products are not FDA-approved.” FDA's search on the other names screened (“Genesis Health”, “trygenesis”, “Beluga Health, P.A.”) returns no other letter to the company or the clinicians it names. A warning letter discloses; it does not disqualify.
