76 of the 229 priced plans are prepay terms shorter than a year, so reaching twelve months means buying the term again, and not one company in this roster publishes what it charges when it renews. Another 126 are month to month, billed twelve times at the rate published today, and the remaining 27 are twelve-month terms that cover the year in a single charge and need no assumption at all. Every total on this page is a projection at today's rates rather than a quote, and every row that depends on a renewal says so.

It will not tell you what happens at renewal, because that is not published anywhere we could read it. It will not price a plan whose term does not divide into twelve, because buying part of a term is not something any of these companies sells — every one of the 229 rungs in the roster happens to divide today, so nothing is missing on that count. It will not price a company that publishes no ladder at all. And it shows the cheapest 10 plans per molecule — 45 rows of the 229 it can price — rather than reprinting the roster.
What it can tell you is the thing the pricing pages are built to obscure: that the plan with the smallest monthly number is often not the cheapest year, and that a membership charged beside the medication compounds twelve times before anyone sends you a renewal notice.
