Kin Meds review

GLP-1 telehealth · Prices read September 2026

Our verdict

Compounded semaglutide is $199 a month at Kin Meds at every dose, and compounded tirzepatide starts at $249. The $149 a month on the home page is a membership for brand-name Wegovy and Zepbound that covers consultations only; the drug is charged on top at a price Kin Meds doesn't publish.

What it is

Kin Meds is a telehealth brand pitched mainly at women and mothers, founded by Jessica Lynne White, a physical therapist who moved into marketing. GLP-1s lead the menu, with sermorelin, NAD+, hormones, sexual-health drugs and at-home labs behind them. The footer credits the site to Kickstart Social, and Kin Meds calls itself a patient management platform that works with independent physician networks.

There are two GLP-1 tracks. The compounded one sells semaglutide or tirzepatide mixed with B12, made by a 503A pharmacy; the returns page lists Rush Pharmacy in Oviedo, Florida and Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, Arizona. The brand track prescribes Wegovy pens and pills, Zepbound pens and vials, and Foundayo, shipped through NovoCare or LillyDirect, with at-home blood tests at 0, 6 and 12 months.

Kin Meds takes no insurance. Its FAQ says each doctor is licensed in your state, some states require a live chat or video visit, and you may be asked for a selfie and a photo ID.

Medication prices. Brand semaglutide, oral semaglutide and brand tirzepatide also need the $149/mo membership, billed on top.

Compounded semaglutide is $199 a month at every dose. Compounded tirzepatide starts at $249 a month, and nothing on the site prices a higher dose. Shipping is free once you're prescribed.

Refills aren't charged automatically. The FAQ describes a monthly renewal notice and a provider review, and says “Your monthly prescription is not automatically debited.” The returns page, on the other hand, tells you to cancel “your subscription” in your account before a package ships.

Brand-name drugs cost more than the headline number. The $149 on the home page and on every brand card is Kin Meds' membership fee for “the provider consultation and follow ups only.” The medication is charged after approval through NovoCare or LillyDirect, and its price isn't printed anywhere. The brand path also opens with a $49 application and screening fee for the intake and an at-home blood test, kept even if you're turned down, although one pricing card labels it “Complementary.”

A pop-up offers the code KIN50 for savings on a first month of care, without saying how much.

Who it's wrong for

Budgeting off the $149 on the home page? That's the brand-track membership by itself; the Wegovy or Zepbound is billed on top.

Skip the brand track if losing $49 on a denial would sting. The screening fee stays with Kin Meds when a provider says no.

Need a tirzepatide price past the first dose? The only figure Kin Meds gives is “Doses Start at $249/month.”

Not for you if you'd want to send unused medication back. Once your card is charged and the box reaches the carrier, the sale is final.

  9. FDA warning letter 721450, issued February 20, 2026, category “False & Misleading Claims/Misbranded (Telehealth)”, addressed to “Kin Meds, 1590 Rosecrans Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266”, recipient email Kin Meds' support email. FDA says it reviewed “your website content at the internet address Kin Meds' home page, in December 2025”. It alleges the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide products “identify “Kin Meds” on the pictured label, suggesting Kin Meds is the compounder of those drugs when in fact it is not”, and quotes two claims: “Same Active Ingredient as common brands” and “Hit weight management goals with the same weight loss ingredient as brand-name GLP-1 medications, at a fraction of the cost”. Neither quoted claim appears on the GLP-1 pages read in September 2026. No action that halted the business is stated. A warning letter discloses; it does not disqualify.
