GLP-1 telehealth · Prices read September 2026

Our verdict

HeliMeds doesn't sell a new patient one month of compounded GLP-1: the first order is a 12-week supply paid at once, shown as $99 a month for semaglutide and $447 ($149 a month) for starter-dose tirzepatide. Brand Wegovy is $1,599 and Zepbound $1,396 for four weeks.

What it is

HeliMeds is a text-only telehealth store for compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, brand Wegovy and Zepbound, and a side shelf of erectile dysfunction drugs, MIC+B12, sermorelin and NAD+. You take a five-minute survey, a provider handles the screening by text rather than a call, and an approved order ships from a partner pharmacy. The site says it grew out of Studio Med Spa, a local wellness practice.

Travex Inc. owns and runs the site, and its terms give a Covina, California mailing address. Travex describes itself as neither a medical practice nor a pharmacy, and the terms name Beluga Health as the partner medical provider and GoGoMeds, in Southgate, Kentucky, as the partner pharmacy. Those terms were last revised in October 2024.

The site doesn't claim its prescribers hold a license in your state, and it lists no states served. It ships only inside the U.S., and it takes no insurance.

What it actually costs

HeliMeds prices by drug

Compounded tirzepatideNot sold alone$149 /mo, 3 months

Brand tirzepatide$1,396None listed

A new patient can't buy compounded GLP-1s in anything shorter than a 12-week order. Semaglutide works out to $99 a month on the “EasyStart” dose and $199 a month on any other, one payment for all 12 weeks. HeliMeds doesn't print those totals; three months at those rates would be $297 and $597.

Starter-dose tirzepatide is $447 for 12 weeks ($149 a month), and every other dose $697 ($232 a month). That $447 is the source of the $37.25 a week in the banner at the top of every page.

A refill price appears only for semaglutide: “Next 4-week supply orders $239.00.” Nothing renews on its own, and there's no subscription to cancel. Each page says you're charged once with no recurring billing, so every refill is a new purchase.

Brand Wegovy is $1,599 and Zepbound $1,396, each for a single 4-week order paid up front. Neither page says which dose that buys.

The medication price includes shipping and the text consultation, and the home page promises a “Free doctor consultation.” The terms still say medical consult fees can't be refunded and that all sales are final, without putting a figure on any fee.

Who it's wrong for

Hoping for a one-month trial of tirzepatide? HeliMeds sells it only as a 12-week supply, $447 at the starter dose and $697 above it.

Skip it if talking to your prescriber by phone matters to you. Screening and follow-up happen over text.

Pricing out brand pens? HeliMeds asks $1,599 for four weeks of Wegovy and $1,396 for Zepbound, with no dose named on either page.

Changed your mind after paying? HeliMeds' terms call every sale final and shut consult fees out of refunds.

Need the medication quickly? The shipping policy quotes 2 to 3 business days of processing and a 4 to 12 business-day average in transit, and HeliMeds disclaims packages lost or damaged on the way.

The home page: “Share your health history and weight loss goals with us to get started for $37.25/week.”
  3. Which molecule. The page at /treatments/semaglutide is headed “Personalized Compounded GLP-1” and never names the molecule in its copy; its intake button points to a path named “semaglutide-monthly”, its FAQ says the compounded medication “is not associated with the Novo Nordisk™ company or the brand-name medications Wegovy® or Ozempic®”, and the how-it-works FAQ answers “How long do semaglutide side effects last?”.
  4. What's included, from each treatment page: “What’s included in your order: Compounded GLP-1 Free shipping 100% online text consultation No Insurance Required”. The home page: “Free doctor consultation”, “1-on-1 text-only medical support” and “Our programs include both the provider and medication, with no hidden fees or office visits.” The FAQ “What if I need to cancel?”: “To cancel, contact HeliMeds' support email. We offer flexible cancellation with no fees or long-term contract commitments.”
  5. Billing and refunds, from the Terms And Conditions (“Last Update: June 20, 2024”, “Date of Last Revision: 10/09/2024”): “If you receive a medical consultation, medical consult fees are not subject to or eligible for a refund. We cannot accept returns of prescription products for reuse or resale, and all sales are final.” and “ANY APPLICABLE FEES AND OTHER CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN WHOLE OR IN PART.” No consult-fee amount appears anywhere on the site.
  6. Who does what, from the terms: the Platform is “owned and operated by Travex Inc.”; “Travex Inc. does not provide any Healthcare Services through the Platform and is not licensed to practice medicine.” and “Travex Inc. is not acting as a pharmacy”. “Travex Inc. works with the following affiliated partner pharmacy to fulfill your prescriptions: GoGoMeds Phone: 1-888-795-5826 Address: 525 Alexandria Pike, Suite 100, Southgate, KY 41071”. “Travex Inc. works with the following affiliated partner Medical Provider: Beluga Health Provider: Dr. Jonah Mink”. The same section refers once to “the Bask Pharmacy Network”. Arbitration notices go to “Travex Inc. 440 N BARRANCA AVE #5101 COVINA, CA 91723 1-254-566-5883”; the terms cite both Nevada and Delaware law. The footer: “© Copyright 2026, All Rights Reserved by Travex Inc”.
  7. Pharmacy and supply claims: the FAQ “Is it real medication?”: “Yes, all medications are made in a State Board of Pharmacy licensed compounding pharmacies, or FDA-licensed 503(b) Outsourcing Facilities.” Another FAQ says “FDA-licensed 503(a) outsourcing facilities across all 50 states.” The product pages: “Medication filled by U.S.-based pharmacies, with free shipping to your door” and “We work only with authorized clinical doctors in the US”. The FAQ “Can I use my own pharmacy to fill my prescription?” says a patient who uses an outside pharmacy is “responsible for your medication expenses.”
  8. Shipping, from the Shipping Policy: “All orders are processed within 2-3 business days.” “4-12 business days average shipping period”. “Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.” (the product pages say “Free shipping”). “Helimeds is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.” “We currently do not ship outside the U.S.” Contact page: “(254) 566-5883” and “HeliMeds' support email”.
  9. No FDA enforcement action on record: FDA's warning-letter search on “HeliMeds”, “helimeds”, “Travex Inc”, “Travex Inc.”, “Helimeds”, “Studio Med Spa”, “Beluga Health”, “GoGoMeds”, “Bask Pharmacy”, returns no letter addressed to HeliMeds, its operator, the named pharmacies or HeliMeds. Search FDA's warning letters.
