PlexusDx review

GLP-1 telehealth · Prices read September 2026

Our verdict

Compounded semaglutide injections are $189 a month at PlexusDx month to month, and tirzepatide injections $289, all-inclusive with no membership. The $149 and $249 “Starts at” prices are six-month rates, and the $129 on the home page belongs to a low-dose Microdose plan.

The short version

In its favor

  • $189 buys one month of compounded semaglutide, no commitment
  • No membership fee on top
  • Prescribers licensed in your state
  • Publishes its support hours

Against it

  • The advertised $149/mo needs a 6-month commitment
  • No pharmacy named

What it is

PlexusDx began as a genetic-testing company in Alpharetta, Georgia, selling DNA kits, at-home blood panels and supplement packs, and has since added prescription programs for weight loss and longevity peptides. The weight-loss shelf has five compounded options: semaglutide as a weekly injection or daily tablet, tirzepatide in the same two forms, and a low-dose Microdose GLP-1 plan.

PlexusDx isn't the prescriber or the seller of record. An independent network of U.S.-licensed clinicians reviews a short online intake, with a live video visit required in five states, and a 503A compounding pharmacy ships in 3 to 5 business days. An unnamed practice-management platform collects the medication and clinical fees; PlexusDx says it's paid separately for data, referral and customer-experience services.

The genetics are the upsell. After your first month, a $99 GLP-1 & Peptide Pathways test reads 34 weight-related markers, which the company calls educational and says doesn't pick your drug. The operator is PLEXUSDX, INC., and its only published address is a unit on McFarland Station Drive.

What it actually costs

PlexusDx advertises $149. A month costs $189 because the advertised rate is the 6-month plan.

The gap

They advertise $149 a month. That is the 6-month plan, $894 on the card today by our math, since the plan's total isn't printed. With no commitment it is $189 a month.

PlexusDx prices by drug
DrugMonth to monthLowest rate on a longer plan
Compounded semaglutide$189$149 /mo, 6 months
Compounded tirzepatide$289$249 /mo, 6 months
Oral semaglutide$289$249 /mo, 6 months

Semaglutide injections cost $189 month to month, $169 a month on a three-month plan and $149 on a six-month plan. Tirzepatide injections are $289, $269 and $249. Oral semaglutide carries that same $289, $269 and $249 ladder, and oral tirzepatide runs $349, $299 and $279.

Each price covers the provider, prescription, medication, supplies and shipping, and it doesn't rise with your dose. There's no membership and no consult charge, and nothing is billed until a provider approves the prescription. The code GETSTARTED takes 10% off a new patient's first program.

What a longer plan costs at checkout isn't printed. One page says to prepay three months for the lower rate, while two FAQs say there's no prepay commitment. If a six-month plan were paid at once, that would be $894 for semaglutide and $1,494 for tirzepatide injections, by our arithmetic.

The $129 on the home page is Microdose GLP-1, one flat monthly price across four low-dose variants, with the provider choosing semaglutide or tirzepatide and tablet or injection. PlexusDx calls these “sub-therapeutic doses”, so it isn't a cheaper way into a full-dose program.

Cancellation is self-service in the portal, with no fee, and takes effect before the next billing cycle. No refund policy for the prescription programs is published.

Who it's wrong for

Planning around $149 for semaglutide? That's the six-month rate. Month to month it's $189, and tirzepatide goes from $249 to $289.

Skip it if you care which pharmacy compounds your vial. PlexusDx names none from its 503A network.

The $129 Microdose plan isn't a discount on full treatment. It's a low-dose protocol, and your provider, not you, picks the molecule.

Want brand Wegovy or Zepbound delivered? PlexusDx won't sell either; the most it offers is a prescription to fill at another pharmacy.

Prefer a phone line for prescription problems? GLP-1 members are routed to a log-in care portal, and the published number belongs to the testing side of the business.

Questions people ask about PlexusDx

On the record8 sourcing notes: every price with the page it came from, and what the company doesn't publish
  1. Sources: PlexusDx's public site: PlexusDx's home page, PlexusDx's weight management protocols page, PlexusDx's semaglutide injection page, PlexusDx's semaglutide oral page, PlexusDx's tirzepatide injection page, PlexusDx's tirzepatide oral page, PlexusDx's microdose GLP-1 protocol page, PlexusDx's FAQS page, PlexusDx's terms and conditions page, PlexusDx's telehealth medical consent page, PlexusDx's about us page and PlexusDx's contact page. The intake at PlexusDx's home page, the Find My Protocol quiz and the GLP-1 care portal were not opened.
  2. The prices, from each product page's FAQ answer: “Semaglutide Injection is flat per-compound pricing across three commitment tiers: $189/mo month-to-month, $169/mo on the 3-month plan, and $149/mo on the 6-month plan.” “Tirzepatide Injection is flat per-compound pricing across three commitment tiers: $289/mo month-to-month, $269/mo on the 3-month plan, and $249/mo on the 6-month plan.” “Semaglutide Oral is flat per-compound pricing across three commitment tiers: $289/mo month-to-month, $269/mo on the 3-month plan, and $249/mo on the 6-month plan.” “Tirzepatide Oral is flat per-compound pricing across three commitment tiers: $349/mo month-to-month, $299/mo on the 3-month plan, and $279/mo on the 6-month plan.” The tier cards on each page read, for semaglutide injection, “MONTH-TO-MONTH $189/mo”, then $169/mo for 3-MONTH and “6-MONTH $149/mo” marked BEST VALUE. The dose tables list every level “from” the six-month rate, for example “0.25 mg Level 1 · starting from $149/mo”.
  3. The home page headline: “Prescription GLP-1 Programs for Weight Loss.” above the weight-loss card “STARTS AT $129/MO”, with “Semaglutide Starts at $149/mo” and “Tirzepatide Starts at $249/mo” beneath. The $129 is Microdose GLP-1, from /products/microdose-glp1-protocol: “$129/mo flat across all four variants — provider visit, compounded prescription, and shipping included; no membership, no platform fees, no dose-level surprises” and “Microdose GLP-1 uses sub-therapeutic doses of GLP-1 peptides — lower than standard weight management protocols — to support metabolic signaling with a reduced side-effect profile.” The provider picks the variant: “Your licensed provider selects your Microdose variant (oral ODT or injection; Semaglutide or Tirzepatide) based on your clinical profile and adjusts it over time based on your response.”
  4. How a term is paid, in the site's conflicting words. The hub: “Prepay a 3-month plan and your monthly price drops below the month-to-month rate.” The site FAQ: “Every price is published on the product page before you enroll, with no membership fee and no prepay commitment.” The hub FAQ: “Month-to-month. No contract, no annual prepayment required.” No three- or six-month total is printed; the upfront figures on those rungs are our multiplication of the per-month rate.
  5. What the price covers: “Every Semaglutide Injection charge includes the same all-inclusive bundle — async provider intake, prescription, compounded Semaglutide medication, syringes, alcohol swabs, and direct-to-door shipping.” and “Nothing is charged until your provider approves your prescription. Cancel anytime, no fees.” Cancellation, from the hub: “Self-service portal cancellation. No retention call, no cancellation fee.” and “cancellation is processed before your next billing cycle with no penalty or fee.” A new-patient code: “Use code GETSTARTED for 10% off your first weight loss program. New patients, first protocol only.” No refund policy for prescription programs was found.
  6. Who does what, from the site footer: “PlexusDx is not a medical practice or pharmacy.” “Clinical services are provided by an independent network of U.S.-licensed clinicians through a state-licensed telehealth platform.” “Medication and clinical service fees are billed and collected by the practice-management platform that supports the prescribing clinicians. PlexusDx is paid separately for the data, referral, and customer-experience services that PlexusDx provides. PlexusDx is not the merchant of record for any prescription medication.” and “PlexusDx does not sell or ship branded prescription medications.” The platform and practice are not named.
  7. The operator, from the Terms and Conditions (“Last Updated: 08/20/2026”): “PLEXUSDX, INC. 6110 McFarland Station Drive, #604 Alpharetta, GA 30004 PlexusDx's support email 877-760-2333”. The About page: “PlexusDx is LegitScript certified. We earned the certification on September 18, 2026.”
  8. Pharmacy, licensure and shipping: “PlexusDx uses a national network of 503A-compliant pharmacies.” “Cold-chain packed. Ships from U.S. partner pharmacy.” “Real medical authority — licensed providers in your state, no AI prescriptions” and “Protocols are available in all 50 states; five states require a live video consultation and the other 45 allow an asynchronous online intake.” Medication “ships within 3 to 5 business days of approval.” Support, from the FAQ: “PlexusDx customer support is available Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm EST. Call 877-760-2333 or email PlexusDx's support email.” The contact page sends GLP-1 members to the care portal, “Monitored daily by your care team”.
