What it is
TelePeptide, which also goes by TelePep, is a direct-pay telehealth platform based in Fort Lee, New Jersey. TelePeptide LLC runs enrollment, technology and billing, and a contracted medical group that the site never names supplies the clinicians. The founder, identified only as Ahmed, describes himself as an attorney by training.
Its GLP-1 menu covers weekly shots and under-the-tongue tablets of both compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, a semaglutide-and-naltrexone tablet aimed at nausea, and nine microdose combinations. NAD+, sermorelin and a hair-loss program round out the list.
Intakes go to a clinician with a license in your state, typically within five hours by the site's account, by chart review or a live consult depending on state law. Unnamed 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies fill the prescription, and delivery usually takes three to five days. TelePeptide serves 48 states plus DC; Alaska and Mississippi are left out.
What it actually costs
Advertised$169
Actually$199/mo
TelePeptide advertises $169. A month costs $199 because the advertised rate is the annual prepay.
The gap
They advertise $169 a month. That is the annual prepay, $2,028 on the card today. With no commitment it is $199 a month.
TelePeptide publishes its whole price chart, and each figure covers the clinician, the prescription, the medication and shipping. Month to month with no commitment, semaglutide injections are $199, tirzepatide injections $249 and the semaglutide dissolvable tablet $229.
Prepaying lowers the rate in three steps. Semaglutide drops to $189 a month with three months prepaid ($567 up front), $179 on six months ($1,074) and $169 on the annual plan ($2,028). Tirzepatide goes to $237, $224 and $214 ($711, $1,344 and $2,568), and the semaglutide tablet to $219, $209 and $199 ($657, $1,254 and $2,388).
Dose has no effect on what you pay, and there's no setup or first-consult fee. Nothing is charged at intake: your card is saved with a $0 check and charged about 24 hours after a clinician approves you.
Leaving a prepay early costs a little. Unshipped months come back pro rata less a $25 administrative fee, and only if you cancel before the next pharmacy fill.
Microdose combinations are $149 month to month, or $134 a month on annual prepay, and the tirzepatide tablet runs $249.
Who it's wrong for
Alaska and Mississippi residents can't finish the intake, and nothing ships to U.S. territories or abroad.
Paying from an HSA or FSA? TelePeptide doesn't take those cards yet, only credit and debit.
Skip the annual plan if you aren't sure you'll tolerate the drug. Shipped months aren't refundable, and the unshipped balance comes back $25 lighter.
Curious which pharmacy compounds your medication before paying? TelePeptide names neither the compounding pharmacy nor the medical group on its public pages.
