What does brand Zepbound cost through Ro, Hims and other telehealth companies?

The drug is Lilly's price almost everywhere. The fee on top is the markup.

GLP America, Publisher · Prices read on the company's own pages · How we review

Lilly's own price plus a fee of $49 to $149 a month. 11 of the 12 companies here print Lilly's $299 for the 2.5 mg starting dose, and each adds its own charge. At the top, Ro, Hims and LifeMD add $149, so a starting month is $448, 50% over LillyDirect by our math.

Who sells brand Zepbound, and at what price?

12 companies whose own pages print a self-pay Zepbound price, all of them at or above Lilly's. Lilly sells the vial and the KwikPen straight to self-pay patients through LillyDirect at $299 for 2.5 mg, $399 for 5 mg and $449 for 7.5 mg to 15 mg, the last on condition you refill within 45 days. Miss that window and 7.5 mg is $499 and 10 mg to 15 mg is $699. Lilly counts a month as 28 days.

Across every company reviewed here, 85 list brand tirzepatide (Zepbound or Mounjaro). 16 price it at Lilly's $299 starting month, and 19 price a pen at $1,000 or more, which is closer to Lilly's list price than to its self-pay price. Those figures come from each company's own review, dated there; the brand tirzepatide page lists them all.

What's the all-in month at each company?

Between $348 and $448 at the 2.5 mg starting dose, for the companies that charge a monthly fee. The drug is the same in every row; the fee is the whole difference.

A month, all in, and the markup are by our math: the company's printed drug price plus its monthly fee, against Lilly's $299. First-month promotions are left out because each applies once (Ro, Hims, LifeMD and Noom start at $39; WeightWatchers at $25). Mochi’s older $39 introductory quote is historical: a banner read October 15 advertises $79 off the first month of its one-month plan, with separate terms not evaluated here. WeightWatchers publishes no monthly Med+ plan, so its row uses the 6-month plan, the shortest it sells; Ro's membership falls to $74 a month if you prepay a year. Every price was read on the company's own page on September 27, 2026.

Zappy Health is the one row where the drug itself costs more: $349 at 2.5 mg on its page, against $299 on Lilly's. Zappy says the medication is billed through Eli Lilly. If Lilly bills its own price, the markup is the $99 subscription alone; ask Zappy which figure you'll be charged before you start.

What happens at the higher doses?

The drug goes to $449 and the fee stays where it was. Most people don't stay at 2.5 mg, which Lilly calls a starting dose that isn't approved for maintenance. At 7.5 mg to 15 mg Lilly charges $449 while you refill within 45 days, and Ro, Measured, Walgreens and ZipHealth print that same $449. With Ro's monthly membership, that month is $598, by our math, 33% over LillyDirect.

The other companies print only a starting price. Several of them hand the prescription to Lilly, so Lilly's ladder is the likely bill, but it isn't what their own pages say, and the refill window is Lilly's rule: a late refill puts 10 mg to 15 mg back at $699 whichever company wrote the prescription.

Is the company just sending you to LillyDirect?

For 8 of the 12, the page with the price also says where the drug comes from. Noom's vials are “fulfilled through LillyDirect”, PreventiveMD's medication is “paid directly to LillyDirect”, Measured's cash-pay path runs “through LillyDirect”, ZipHealth's KwikPen “ships directly from Eli Lilly” and Zappy Health's medication is “through Eli Lilly”. Ro says its cash prices match LillyDirect's. Walgreens and Amazon One Medical send the prescription to a pharmacy.

Hims, LifeMD, WeightWatchers and Mochi Health print a Zepbound price without saying on the same page where it's filled. Who fills your prescription covers what each company says elsewhere.

When does paying a company make sense over going direct?

When the company does something LillyDirect doesn't. On price alone it never comes out ahead: the drug is the same price and the fee is added. The non-price reasons are real, though. LillyDirect sells to self-pay patients and needs a prescription from a clinician you already have. If you don't have one, a company is how you get one. Ro, LifeMD, Measured and WeightWatchers say they'll check insurance for Zepbound or do the prior-authorization paperwork, and a covered prescription isn't priced by this table at all. Does anyone take your insurance? covers who says what.

If you need few visits, a per-visit company can cost less over a year than a monthly fee. One $49 Walgreens visit a month matches the lowest monthly fee here, PreventiveMD's $49; three a month, $147, is close to the top. How often you'll need a visit is a question for the company before you start.

How do you tell brand Zepbound from compounded tirzepatide at checkout?

By the name on the product and who ships it. Brand Zepbound is sold as a single-dose vial or a KwikPen and comes from Lilly or a pharmacy you choose. Compounded tirzepatide is made by a compounding pharmacy, is not FDA-approved, and is usually priced on a flat monthly plan with the drug included. Does the company name the molecule? covers the companies that don't say which one you're buying, and the tirzepatide premium compares both against semaglutide.
